Healthy Hair: The 4 Day Challenge

Here at Cyndibands we are obsessed with healthy hair, always finding new tips and trends that help in obtaining the healthiest hair possible. None of us shampoo our hair everyday because we know over-washing can strip hair of its natural oils that keep locks moisturized and healthy. Give your hair a break from styling tools and shampoo by washing it every few days. Because we love Cyndibands and healthy hair so much, we came up with the 4 Day Challenge and encourage you to join us in our non-washing hair experience.

Day 1- Blow dry straight or wavy
After you have washed your hair, style as desired. Try using the medium setting on your blow dryer for less damage.

Day 2 - Loose Side Braid
For the second day spray hair with dry shampoo, such as Klorane Dry Shampoo or Batiste Dry Shampoo, and place your hair in a loose side pony or braid. For a variation, we recommend trying a fishtail braid or a multi-strand braid.

Day 3 - High Ponytail
The challenge is almost over! Place your hair in a high ponytail with a bright Cyndibands hair tie for a pop of color. You can try braiding your ponytail for a different look. Remember you can use dry shampoo for added volume and to remove oil.

Day 4 - High Bun
For the last day of your non-washing experience, put hair in a high bun and secure with a Cyndibands hair tie. If you want to keep flyaways in place then try using a Cyndibands headband.
Challenge complete!
