Smaller than expected

I ordered this design in med brown & copper. Like most ‘mericans a I did not understand the 4mm rating. These are smaller than I hoped for. I have a tiny wrist and they cut off my circulation and I can’t wear them at all. Hold is probably OK for shoulder length hair. But my mane needs 2 of these and they pinch my fingers wrapping them around my pony 2x
