Review: Klorane Dry Shampoor

One of the easiest ways to keep your healthy hair is by only washing it 2-3 times a week, but before dry shampoo that was easier said than done. Go three days without washing your hair and you start getting oily hair. Dry shampoo is a powdered substance used to clean your hair in between showers or when getting your hair wet is not practical. With so many brands available, it was difficult to choose just one. That's when our quest to find the best dry shampoo began. We tested four different brands. Our test group consisted of different hair types: from long, thin, wavy hair to long, thick, curly hair.

Dry shampoo comes in two forms: loose powder form or aerosol spray form. No matter which option you choose, add dry shampoo to the roots of your hair and allow the product to soak up the oil and dirt from your hair. Brush through hair after a few minutes. You can use dry shampoo immediately when you need it, or you can spray it on your roots at night and sleep on the product so that your hair is ready to go when you wake up. After weeks of testing, our decision between the different tested dry shampoos was unanimous. The oat milk infused dry shampoo- Klorane was declared our favorite.

Long, Curly Hair

I must admit, I was excited to know I would not have to wash my hair every day the following week. I thought about all the extra time I would have in the morning and fantasized of how I would spend it. The first brand I tested was Klorane. I had gone three days without washing my hair and was crossing my fingers this would really work. I sprayed my long, curly hair and rubbed the product on the scalp to remove powder. I was very impressed with the finished look. My hair looked like I had just washed it the day before, but with the volume and texture you get from not washing your hair. It was like I had the best of both worlds.

I used the dry shampoo on my flat-iron straightened hair. Usually I have to put my bangs back with the rest of my hair if I don't shower the same day, which makes me look a little bit like a boy... so I was thrilled when the dry shampoo gave my hair texture and volume! Instead of slicking back my bangs, I was able to wear them down and put the rest of my hair back into a pony. I could have worn my hair down because it looked that great, but it was enough that it looked like I wanted that style instead of being forced into that style because of oily hair.

I love this product! The way the other products sprayed into my hair were liquid and messed up the current style I already had. Klorane made me change my ideas about dry shampoos completely! Klorne took effect immediately so I did not have to spray it in the night before. This product is perfect because I only use it when I need it and I don't have to think about it beforehand.
